Sreeni Pillamarri has many years of IT industry experience across Australia, Canada, USA & India. Prior holding a Director’s role at SoftLabs, he worked with organisations like Unisys, ABC Corp, Woolworths and later headed up various organisations as a CEO in Media and IT. He is actively involved in CSR activities besides being a Justice of the Peace and holds Master’s in Information Systems Degree.
SoftLabs is an Australian based Digital Technology Company specialised in Technology consulting, project management, software development, testing, training and support services.
Why did you start your business?
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, especially as I grew up watching my father run a small business.
What’s the story behind your business?
The idea was to offer cost efficient IT Services and Solutions to organisations – small business, Corporates, non-profit organisations and Government’s.
What are the benefits of your products and services?
You can be assured of (a) IT governance, process, procedures, compliance, security and risk management; (b) we will have an understanding of each clients’ requirements and aspects of each project know how’s and deliver them on time on budget.

I am passionate about technology and providing solutions to businesses that empowers them to automate their work and increase efficiency and effectiveness.

As a business we have active community engagement initiatives; in a way that keeps the team motivated, as we believe in giving back to the community.
Why do you love being a local Hornsby Shire business?
I live locally in Hornsby and started my journey as an entrepreneur being a resident in Cherrybrook.

Why do you think small businesses are so important to the local communities and Australian economy?
They are the lifeline of communities and many families; local communities thrive because of small businesses; small businesses also provide heaps of employment in so many industries and most importantly they are contributing essentially to the welfare of local economy and Australians.

There are many, and one of them would be Kerry Packer, as he was a dynamic entrepreneur; and through his businesses, he vastly contributed to the Australian Economy.
